What a night! The energy was absolutely electric at the Short Story Theatre in the Highland Park Arts Center. We were honored to be part of an evening that celebrated the power of personal narrative, and what an incredible community they have, going strong for 14 years! Huge kudos to Donna for keeping the flame alive.

The evening was a masterclass in connection, culminating in our own participation, where we shared a story titled: "What a High School Minimum Wage Job Taught Me."

"In Their Own Words" is built on the belief that every person has a story worth telling and that sharing those authentic experiences can create a profound sense of empathy and understanding. Last night, that belief was validated tenfold by an audience that listened, laughed, and connected with an open heart.

Thank you, Highland Park Arts Center, for being such a wonderful host and a truly inspiring community. We can’t wait to see what stories the next chapter brings!
