In Their Own Words.
Karrie McDermott, founder of In Their Own Words and the Libertyville Historical Society are inviting women ages 80+ in our community to be part of Women of Libertyville: In Their Own Words.
This project is both a celebration and a preservation—capturing life stories and legacies through recorded conversations with a loved one, friend, or neighbor. Each participant will receive a digital copy to keep, and—with permission—the stories will be archived as part of Libertyville’s community history, inspiring future generations.
